By The People festival transformed Washington, D.C. into a citywide, four-day celebration of art installations, performances, and events taking place at the Smithsonian’s Arts + Industries Building, Union Market, THEARC, Washington National Cathedral, The Parks at Walter Reed, and over a dozen additional satellite locations. The festival was aimed at broadening access to the arts while drawing tens of thousands of visitors and generating significant cultural and economic impact.
